At WACO Title, data security and regulatory compliance are operational priorities. We recognize that the modern real estate closing process involves the exchange of sensitive financial data and Non-Public Personal Information (NPI). Consequently, we have implemented rigorous internal controls designed to safeguard all parties involved in a transaction against fraud and data breaches.

To validate the effectiveness of these controls, we subjected our operations to an extensive examination by an independent third-party auditing firm. This audit focused on establishing our strict alignment with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) Best Practices as well as federal consumer financial protection regulations.

This process established WACO Title as the first title agency in Arkansas or Missouri to achieve SOC I, Type II Certification. Unlike a standard assessment, a Type II report verifies that our internal control objectives have been tested for operational effectiveness over a sustained period, rather than at a single point in time. This certification offers objective proof to consumers and partners that our risk management protocols are active, reliable, and consistent.
